Summary • A first proposal for a change in the structure of the AdCom was presented in Long Beach • Different options were extensively discussed during the last meeting in Denver • The committee prepared a motion that was sent to all voting members for electronic voting • Electronic ballot failed

  3. Table with the proposal [i] Assuming that the position is to remain appointed and not elected.

  4. Motion • Accept the basic structural changes, including that Awards Chair has no longer AdCom voting privileges. Yes / No Comment: The change in the voting privileges of the Awards Chair is being recommended to keep the number of voting members down as much as reasonably possible.

  5. Motion • The Membership Chair, a Presidential appointee who currently reports into the VP of Operations, is proposed to be a Vice-President level position with AdCom voting privileges. • Two alternate name for this office (appointed position) Executive Vice-President of Membership  Executive Chair of Membership

  6. Motion • The position of Director of Standards, a Presidential appointee who currently reports to the President, is proposed to be a Vice-President level position with vote. • The Standards Director currently has an AdCom vote, so this is only a change in name. • Alternate name for this office (appointed position) Executive Vice-President of Standards Executive Chair of Standards

  7. Motion • The position of Global Relations Chair, a new position, is proposed to be a Vice-President level position with AdCom voting privileges. This new position would have an AdCom vote. • Alternate name for this office (appointed position) Executive Vice-President of Global Relations  Ambassador of Global Relations

  8. Motion • Should the Constitution & Bylaws Chair continue to have AdCom voting privileges. • Yes / No
