  3. Instructions This self paced module will teach employees how to properly greet clients as they come into a business. Use escape key at any time to exit module. Time Duration: Approximately 5 minutes.

  4. Greeting the Customer How well a client is greeted, as clients come in to a business, can make the difference as to how soon they may come back and buy again. Showing the clients that their business is welcoming and giving them a reassuring treatment as soon as they walk into the business could mean a long business relationship.

  5. Smile First thing a client should see when they come in is the most friendliest smile you can give them.

  6. Handshakes A firm handshake should follow your best smile.

  7. Knowledge Knowing the product your are selling will instill confidence in your clients.

  8. Question 1 • What should be the first thing a client is exposed to as they come in to the business. • Pictures in the wall • A Floor mat • A smile

  9. Question 2 What would you consider to be the best way of greeting a client. A. A hi five B. A firm handshake C. A sports celebration dance

  10. Question 3 What would inspire confidence and trust in your clients? A. A nice suit B. A nice car C. Product knowledge

  11. Summary At the end of the day, clients want to do business with people that treat them with respect and in a friendly manner. Clients want to feel welcome when they come to your place of business and they want somebody they can trust to take care of their needs. Being able to get the best customer service is what will keep clients coming back over an over again.
