  6. Course organization • Building scholarly, methodological, and data analytic skills. • Personality research: scale development and testing. • Social psychology research: social influence experiment.

  7. Course evaluation • Midterm: 15% • Final exam: 15% • In-class assignments, group work, quizzes, etc.: 5% • Personality scale development paper: 10% • Social psychology experiment paper: 35% • Lab grade: 20%

  8. The bad part • Late assignments: one grade penalty per day • Spelling/grammar mistakes: one point per mistake

  9. The good part This certificate entitles the bearer to hand in one assignment up to two days late with no penalty. Limitations & exclusions: cannot be used to avoid a penalty for the final submission of the final paper, cannot be transferred. To use, attach the cer- tificate to the assignment.   10. Final grades • 90% = A, 80% = B, 70% = C, 60% = D • Within 1% will be considered for the next higher letter grade • You must pass the lab to pass the class
