  2. What is Bridging Visa D ? Bridging Visa is a short term temporary visa this is given to candidates when he/she is going to leave Australia or they have some problems related to their new substantive visa. BVD is divided into two subcategories they are as follows:- • Bridging (Prospective Applicant) visa (subclass 040) • Bridging (Non-applicant) visa (subclass 041).

  3. What This Visa Allows A Candidate ? • This visa allows a person to stay in Australia for a short span of time. • The person can’t leave Australia till bridging visa D is valid. • The person can’t work by holding bridging visa D

  4. Why Bridging Visa is Required ? Any person needs a bridging visa, if he/she is soon going to become unlawful citizen of Australia and his new substantive visa is taking time in processing. If one cannot opt for bridging visa after expiration of his/her visa.
