INTRODUCTION • Lobster are mostly found in rock edges, coral heads, and thick vegetation . • The lobster travels forward by walking in a slower manner and when it get scarred, it bend its tail and moves backward in a rapid speed. • It is hard to catch lobster in large numbers but their larger size can yield a profitable catch.

  4. TECHNIQUES TO CATCH LOBSTER • There are two widely used techniques to catch lobster. They are,

LOBSTER DIVING METHOD • The lobster diving method is the best way to catch the lobster in undersea during day times. • In lobsterdiving, the diver is dragged behind the boat with 20ft rope attached on each side of the boat. • When the diver gets into undersea, he should initially locate some spots where the lobsters are found. • After locating the lobsters, the diver will be using the tickle stick to tab the lobster tail, antennas or the other sides of lobster. • Finally, the diver attacks the lobster immediately using the end of the net and thereby the lobster gets trapped into the net.

  6. BULLYNETTING METHOD • In this method, the people use bully net, large hoop, boat with lightings etc to catch the lobster. • First, the lobster should be spotted in sea floor and then position the net above the metal ring. • Now, the people in the boat should immediately plunge the bully net down the sea floor to catch the lobster. • After that, the bully net is pulled along the sea floor to handle lobster.

  7. CONCLUSION • These are the techniques that are widely used to catch lobster and each technique gets varied based on the time they used to go for catching the lobster. For example, Bullynetting method is effectively used in night times only.
