  2. THE CITY OF KRAGUJEVAC Kragujevac became the first capital of Serbian Principality in 1818 after the liberation from the Otoman Empire. Headed by Prince Miloš Obrenović, it was the political and cultural center of 19 century Serbia.The FirstSerbian Constitution was passed in Kragujevac in 1835.

  3. Prince Miloš Obrenović established the first administrative, educational and cultural institutions in Kragujevac, such as the first court, high school, theater, library, gallery... The first institution of higher education in Serbia was also founded in Kragujevac in 1838 -„Lyceum “. It represented the crown of Prince Milos efforts to establish an institution for educating state administration and officials. The first subjects taught in Lyceum were: 1. philosophy 2. “general" history 3. “pure" mathematics 4. statistics 5. German language and 6. drawing

  9. The University of Kragujevac has about 95 accredited programs in all major fields of study and the teaching staff of 1020 teachers and associates. The University of Kragujevac has the student population of 20000 students enrolled in all three study cycles.

It will establish a working group that will provide support in the analysis of the existing institutional regulations related to internationalization strategies and EU recommendations on this subject It will contribute to the development and implementation process for the defined framework It will actively attend and participate in the staff trainings and know-how transfer visits, thus strengthening the University’s capacities for developing high-quality international project proposals , effective management of large-scale international projects , establishment of mechanisms for incoming student services It will organize dissemination events on new and advanced internationalization policies within the promotion of Serbia higher education in EHEA It will contribute to overall project administrative and financial management.
