  2. About Stoas University Stoas University is one of the five Agricultural Universities in The Netherlands at which students are trained for management- Jobs in Agriculture and horticulture. The graduates of Stoas will find jobs in Education (60%) or in Management (40%) Students can choose from several specializations: Associate Degree Bachelor Degree Master Degree

Practice based examples of Social media in our educational programmes • Design a guided tour in a garden, film it with your own mobile phone, edit, add horticultural information and share the movies at Youtube to share knowledge; • Let studentgroups prepare presentations about infrastructures, by using Google earth; • Create brainwaves about a subject by designing a learning question at Hyves (=a kind of facebook, popular Dutch network between teenagers) • Create knowledge construction with Virtual action learning • Let students construct their own professional networkportfolio with Linkedin
