  2. GSAK Advanced • User Sort field • Add a column called ‘Usort’ • Add numbers to the caches you are planning to find in the order you want to find them in • Options: set up manually or automatically

  3. Working with columns • You can change the width of any column • You can rename and remove a column • You can multi-column sort • GSAK will use your last selected sort as your "secondary" sort sequence

  4. Helpful columns • Archived/Unavailable (status) • This column indicates if the cache is available, temporary disabled, or archived (A, T, X respectively • Bearing • bearing from your current centre point. • If you double mouse click here, a message box will pop up showing you the actual bearing degrees.

  5. Polygon / Line drawing tool • The GSAK polygon/line mapping tool is an online tool that will enable you to create polygons and lines compatible with the GSAK arc filter (Search=>Filter=>Arc/Poly) and polygons for the GetPolygon() macro function • This tool is web based, using a Google API, and therefore will only work when connected to the Internet. • Allows you to draw an area of caches of interest from your database

  6. Polygon / Line illustrated • This polygon searched my database for caches within the drawn area

  7. Other features • Using Split screen to view a cache • Status check • Goes on line to update the database • Useful for archived / temp unavailable caches • Searching by attributes (e.g. W/NW) • Searching by ‘last found date’ • Producing statistics (attachment)
