Green Accounts – status in DK • Green Accounts for farms are voluntary • Green Accounts since 1996 • Subsidy scheme since 2002 - 7.500 DKK per year in 5 years • Subsidy scheme closed from 2007 • 600 farms prepare green accounts in 2007 • Green accounts for farms are in general not published (as in other business)

  5. Purpose of Green Accounts • The purpose of the subsidy scheme has been to introduce Green Accounts i agriculture in order to reduce the environmental impacts • From farmers point of view better utilization of ressoucers in order to save money is important • (Information to the public)
