  1. Special Number 15! Number 15 By Analiese W. Math Project

  2. Math facts about 15 • 15 is composite because the factors of 15 are 1,3,5, and 15. Composite Numbers have more than two factors. • The number 15 is also odd because 15/2=7.5. • 15 is deficient because it’s proper factors are 1,3, and 5. 1+3+5=9. 9 is less than 15 so 15 is deficient.

  3. World facts about 15 • In the game, baseball, my favorite team, the Giants, have Noah Lowry(the pitcher.) His number is 51and that transposed=15. • Behind my condo, I can see 15 lights from the construction site. • The multiples of 15 are basic clock numbers. 15 minutes = a quarter of an hour.

  4. Factor Game For the factor game, my number would be an OK 1st move because the proper factors are 1,3, and 5. So 1+3+5=9. Your opponent would get 9 and you would get 15. You would still get more than your opponent, but it is not very much more.

  5. Product Game My number would not be a very good result for the product game because 15 is out on the left side so it is hard to get 4 products in a row with the numbers surrounding it.

  6. Vocabulary Factors: Multiple numbers that can be multiplied together to give a product. Composite #: A whole number that contains more than two factors. Prime #: A number that can only be divided by one and itself evenly.
