  1. All About Me! By ______

  2. My True Color EXAMPLE My true color is Primary Blue (To Love and Be Loved) which means: - My heart-felt communication style creates peace and harmony in the workplace. - I bring out the best in others.

  3. My Learning Style • EXAMPLE • I am a Visual Learner which means: • When spelling I try to see the word in my mind • When talking to someone I hate listening for too long. I like words such as see, picture, and imagine • When with friends I prefer direct, face-to-face, personal meetings • When I read I like descriptive scenes and I pause to imagine the actions

  4. My Myers-Briggs Type • EXAMPLE • My personality type on the Myers-Briggs test is an ENFP (aka The Inspirer or The Champion). This means I am: • Open-minded, imaginative, caring and outgoing • I thrive on the drama in life, observing everything enthusiastically • Charming, interactive, charismatic, communicative and ingenious

  5. Positives and Negative Characteristics of Gifted Kids • EXAMPLE • My total for this test was 14 positive characteristics and 12 negative characteristics. I only had 2 more positive characteristics than negative. • I don’t agree with the characteristics ‘Always has a nose in a book and the book doesn’t always seem terribly appropriate’ • What kind of book is not appropriate? An adult novel? A magazine? A sassy teenage high school novel? I want to know exactly what they mean by inappropriate.

  6. Positives and Negative Characteristics of Gifted Kids (2) • EXAMPLE (continued) • The characteristic ‘Can get lost in their own thoughts. May be mistaken for daydreaming or not paying attention’ should be on the positive list because it means they’re actually thinking. Nobody wants to have a classroom full of people who are not thinking. • I personally think that this test is okay but that they should cut out some of the negative characteristics that are really stupid (i.e. ‘Can become a real pest’).

  7. My Gifted Motto • EXAMPLE • I really think this motto reflects me and my giftedness so this is what it is: To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. - Joseph Chilton Pearce

  8. Meyers Pig • pig explanation here • Include scanned picture if you’d like

  9. Conclusion • summary of the activity • Any insights go here
