  • In 2006 it took place on the 6th of May.

  • The migration of the Simpa and Winneba people from the western Sudan empire to Ghana.

Diafarabe Cattle Crossing

  • Held every December

  • Herders bring their cattle to the rivers of Diafarabe to graze.

  • On the other side of the river families are reunited for a couple days.

  • Unmarried men and women dress up in order to attract each other.


Competitions

  • They judge the fattest cow.

    • The winner will receive a useful prize.
