  2. Background • Starbucks gets their coffee beans from Yemen • Dunkin gets their coffee beans from Arabia • During the Arabian-Yemen war the U.S was allied with Yemen and had a trade embargo with Arabia • Resulting in Dunkin rebelling because they had no coffee beans

  3. Long Term Hatred • Starbucks steals Dunkin’s customers • Copies Dunkin’s drinks • Uses false advertising

  4. Dunkin/Starbucks Political Struggle • Starbucks wants control over all Coffee drinkers • Want to have rule over Dunkin • Dunkin wants to remain in business with rule over itself

  5. Assimilation • President Obama is forcing Dunkin to obtain it’s coffee beans from Yemen instead of Arabia • Dunkin refuses to accept this law

  6. Bystanders • Baskin Robins was aware of this happening • Starbucks asked them for help • BR did not want to jeopardize their company image

  7. Perpetrator • Dunkin was put out of business and rebelled against Starbucks since they took their customers • Dunkin created the FSU party and allied with Yemen • Yemen poisoned the coffee beans they gave to starbucks • Killing all of those who drank their coffee

  8. Victims • Innocent Starbucks coffee drinkers were targeted during the genocide • As well as all employees of Starbucks

  9. Heroes • Folgers sends Starbucks a new supply of coffee beans • They also stop all shipment of Yemen coffee beans to the US by taking control of the ships used to import the beans

  10. International Response • The UN was told about the genocide through a letter sent by Baskin Robins • They ignored it and said “the problem will fix itself” • Citizens of the US didn’t act upon hearing of the genocide, they just drank other coffee brands

  11. Following orders • Yemen allied with the FSU party and poisoned with coffee beans sent to Starbucks • Starbucks got their coffee beans from Yemen, following the law President Obama passed • Baskin Robins reported information they knew about the genocide to the UN

  12. Outcome • By poisoning the Yemen coffee beans 3.2 million people were killed over the course of 4 weeks • Dunkin regained control of coffee drinkers since everyone thought Starbucks was poisoned
