  5. MOTIVATION: Ourchildren are ofanagewhentheirimmagination and their fantasy are still pure and simple. Wemustn’t limittheirimagination. Westimulateit.We don’t givethemmodels. Our work mustbetoallowfreedomofexpression.

  6. Methodology • Weaskthemtodraw the childsitting in frontofthem. • They can usedifferentmaterials and tecniques (colourpens, crayons and oils, temperasetc…) oftheirchoice

  7. Westimulatethemtalkingabout the shapes and formsofvegetables. • Weaskthemtobuild the face usingvegeteblesthatwesupply. • Whenwe are talkingtothemwe are abletomakeconnectionswithallsubjects: language, science, logic,and so on…..

  8. Whentheyhavecompletedthere work we show themfamousmasterpiecesofpaintersforexample ARCIMBOLDO

  9. WechoseArcimboldobecauseheisperfecttorepresent a school project abouthealthyfoodcalled “slow food”. In this project ourchildrenhavebeeninvolved in growingvegetables in the school garden. Theygrowdifferentkindsofvegetableslike: tomatoes,carrots, cucumberscourgettes,lemons,radish , herbsetc…..

  10. Wehaveanotheradvantageofbeingableto take the childrento the galleries and artisticcentresnearby. • Wehavealso the collaborationof art schools and art academywhere the students are the tutorsofourchildren in art .

  11. Children are alsoencouragedto look at artists’ work in bookswhichwehave at school. • At the end we can compare their work with the paintingofArcimboldo. And iftheywish, onlyiftheywish, they can makeagaintheirmasterpieces or they can copy picturesby the painter.
