  1. 1st Generation The 1st generation nano was the first color ipod display and allowed for more mp3 storage and album artwork to be displayed

  2. 2nd Generation The 2nd generation come in an assortment of colors, allowing consumers to have options.

  3. 3rd Generation The 3rd generation had added Video and Podcast so you’re ipod could do more and you could use it for more than music when you were on the go.

  4. 4th Generation The 4th generation did it all plus the option of a physical shuffle with the flick of your wrist and album selection if you turn your ipod horizontal.

  5. 5th Generation The 5th generation added the a camera and microphone option to take photos and video instead of only allowing consumers to add them to their ipod.

  6. 6th Generation The touch screen buzz! The 6th generation allowed consumers to use touch screen to select music and came in a miniature structure.

  7. 7thGenertation The current nano is the 7th generation nano that’s adapted to our time. The World is concerned with health and fitness and it features a Nike app for consumers to use while listening to music.
