  4. MINISTERIAL ETHICS Is telling or learning the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, even possible in today’s world of mega media lies? The TRUTH

  5. MINISTERIAL ETHICS • Believers in Jesus Christ are called to not only to declare the TRUTH but to live the TRUTH and to LOVE THE TRUTH, even if it hurts us! The TRUTH

  6. MINISTERIAL ETHICS “The true or actual  state of a matter: He  tried to find out the truth. 2. conformity with  fact or reality.” WHAT IS THE TRUTH?

  7. MINISTERIAL ETHICS TRUE or TRUTH HEBREW = אֱמֶת “ emeth” – faithfulness, firmness, dependable. Deuteronomy 13:14 WHAT IS THE TRUTH?

  8. MINISTERIAL ETHICS TRUE or TRUTH GREEK = ἀληθής= “athalace” – showing truth, presenting actually as it is. Matthew 22:16 WHAT IS THE TRUTH?

  13. MINISTERIAL ETHICS • The doctrine of relativism is dangerous, deadly, weak minded, intellectually lazy and a poor excuse for a life philosophy. WITH OUT TRUTH YOU WILL FAIL!!! RELATIVISM – ETHICS

  18. MINISTERIAL ETHICS • LOVE is the most popular in today’s FEEL-GOOD world. • Love as defined by the secular relativistic mindset is very different from the Biblical realities of LOVE. THE HOLINESS OF GOD

  37. MINISTERIAL ETHICS • HOLINESS of God is central to His divine nature and a fixed foundation of His CHARACTER. • HOLINESS and SIN cannot co-exist. THE HOLINESS OF GOD

  43. MINISTERIAL ETHICS • While it is true that God is LOVE, God is also HOLY. Holiness is key to understanding Biblical ethics. THE HEART OF THE FATHER is a HEART for HOLINESS. GOD IS HOLY

  44. MINISTERIAL ETHICS • God could not LOVE if He was not HOLY. “For God so loved the world that HE gave His Only Begotten SON…” • The atonement for our sin HAD TO BE HOLY. GOD IS HOLY

  45. MINISTERIAL ETHICS ISAIAH 53:10-11 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him;He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, ORIGIN OF GOVERNMENTAL ETHICS FROM THE BIBLE
