WOMEN ARTISTS IN THE PAST • After an intense websearch, we have found scarce examples of women artists throughout the centuries. The main reason for this is that arts was a field, like that of literature, in which womens' works were not focused on. • Most of these women artists were encouraged to follow this path by their parents, most of them are daughters of well- known artists in their times.
