  4. Scope • Specification for radio performance and protocol aspects from a system point of view • Responsibility for specification of RF parameters • BS conformance (to be reviewed in the future)

  5. Working procedures • Given the shortage of time I recommend the following • All documents circulated to the email reflector before the meeting. • Document numbers will be assigned by the convenor until further notice • Any documents produced at the meeting made available in electronic format to the convenor and secretary

  6. Working procedures - cont. • Presentations made when possible • I will suggest the use of email reflector discussions when an issue is not being resolved in a suitable timeframe during the meeting • Remember this group is contribution driven, please write papers.

  7. Document Numbering • Tdoc RAN WG4 => R4-99001 = Tdoc 001 of RAN WG4 plenary (”4-") meeting in 1999 • Tdoc RAN WG4 WPA => R4A99021 = Tdoc 021 of RAN WG4-WPA (”4A") meeting in 1999

  8. Specification numbering • Not Confirmed • Suggestion • Specifications - S4-xx • Technical reports - R4-xx

  9. Structure • One Chairman • One Vice chair • One Secretary • Chair and Vice chair nominations sent to email reflector before the next meeting (Feb 15 - 19) • Elections will take place at RAN WG 4 #2
