  2. What is POW? • POW is Prisoners of War.

  3. Introduction • They were forced to work at construction sites. • They were kept in various prison camps • There was very little to eat. • As there was very little food, the POWs fell ill and died to poor health. • On 17 February 19423, they were asked to pledge the loyalty to Japan.

  4. How did they find their nutrients back? • They grind lallang as lallang has high vitamin content.
