Supervisor’s Role at the beginning • Supervisor to login in Speed Net software • Perform the Day begin • Allocate the job among SAs / MTS. • He would assign the work • Among SAs for mail agency / bag receipt desk, bag opening desk, sorting, bag closing desk and bag despatch desk. • among MTS officials also.

  7. Duty Allocation • Duties can be allotted by the Supervisor to each designation • For example, if a Sorting Asst. is allotted with the work of only bag receipt and bag opening work, it can be done so that he can not other operations like bag closing, bag despatching etc.

  8. Role of Supervisor • See the picture • Receipt of bags, Opening of Bags & TBs are hidden • This Operator (SPEEDSA) can not do these activities

  17. Modification of Bag Details • After opening of SPTB / Bag, • If any bags’ source office and destination office require to be changed, it can be done. • But bag number can not be changed.

  19. Modification of Speed Articles • After opening of Speed Bag, • If any article type is required to be modified or it any article is to be added or deleted, it can be done.

  21. Process at Bag Closing Desk • After sorting is completed at Sorting desk, work at bag closing desk start • Close the bags by scanning each and every article

  25. Modification of Articles sent • Before despatching of a speed bag, • If any article needs to be added or deleted, it can be done, but not after despatch of bag is done.

  28. Cancellation of Bags Closed • Before despatching of a speed bag, • If the speed bag is closed to a wrong office, it needs to be cancelled. This can be done.

Responsibilities • Entire set / shift (SAs & MTS Officials) would be collectively responsible for any unexplained variation in the abstract • It would be collective responsibility of the entire set / shift for the safety of speed post articles • Each official is responsible for safety, security and cleanliness of the hardware & equipments used by them. • In case of any technical issues, seek the help of System Administrator • Run the Speednet communication at regular intervals
