  1. Various Aspects of Asset Disposal The information and the IT equipment are the most vital and the essential element of any organisation. All of our activities are involved in the creation or either handling of the information in one form or the other. The IT Asset Disposal policies and the adjoining other policies are related to the management of secured disposal of IT products which are disowned by the companies. The main purpose of IT asset disposal is for establishing and defining the standards and the restrictions for the disposal of the non-lease IT equipment in a much more legalized manner with cost effectiveness. It is said instructed to discard the obsolete or the surplus IT assets and resources under proper laws and regulations with the help of appropriate external agents. Scope for ITS Asset Disposal The procedure of asset disposal is applicable to all the proper disposal of all non-leased hardware like PCs, monitor, router, switches, databases, servers, printers, handheld devices etc. The hardware which is owned by the colleges is beyond reasonable repair or reuse so they are covered under this procedure. Sometimes, alternative methods are applied which includes reselling, auctioning, reassignment or even donation.
