  14. Replace Roof System Bldg 3600 Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL • The DKJV, Project Manager will take Digital photographs of the construction area prior to the start of construction.

Replace Roof System Bldg 3600 Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL • Project CQC System Manager, superintendent Bill Soltis will conduct periodic “Quality Construction and Management” (QCM) meetings. • All portions of the Work Plan and project activities will be reviewed at these meetings. Maintaining Quality will be the primary focus of these meetings.

Bill Soltis will review as built drawings to insure that drawings have been updated in a timely basis, that the updates are correct and are clear understandable. • As built drawings will be available for review by the Government.

  19. Replace Roof System Bldg 3600 Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL DKJV has prepared and included in our approved QC plan as attachment C QC Preparatory Phase Inspection Checklist. This checklist will be used during the preparatory meetings for all definable features of work. These Checklist will be filed and will become part of the contract file.

  20. Replace Roof System Bldg 3600 Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL DKJV has prepared and included in our approved QC plan as attachment D QC Initial Phase Inspection Checklist. The Initial Phase Checklist (Attachment D) is performed shortly after work begins and is documented with the Attachment D Report. The Initial phase procedures shall be repeated for each definable phase of work as defined in 2.6.2.5, and for each new on-site crew prior to work on-site, or anytime the established quality level of workmanship is not being met.

The Follow Up Phase is incorporated as part of the daily quality inspection (Attachment E) to assure continued compliance with workmanship requirements established at the Preparatory and Initial Phase Inspections, and documented on the Quality Control Daily Report.

Replace Roof System Bldg 3600 Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL • Quality control inspections will be conducted to insure the work is installed as contracted and as submitted. • Our CQC System Manager Bill Soltis will make these inspections. • A minimum of three Quality Inspections will be made during the work shift, the first at the commencement of daily activity, the last at the end of the work day to insure that materials and tools have been properly stored and that the work area has been cleaned. • Quality Control Inspection will include:

Replace Roof System Bldg 3600 Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL • Quality Control Inspection will include: • 1 A review of the contract requirement and submittal information. • 2 Confirmation that all equipment and material has been submitted and approved. • 3 Confirmation that all required testing procedures is in place. • 4 Comparison of actual field progress with scheduled field progress. • 5 An examination of materials, equipment, and samples to be sure they conform to • approved submittal and contract requirement. • 6 A check of the work for improper installation, damaged or defective materials. • 7 Verification of dimensional requirements. • 8 Verification that as-built information is being properly documented.
