Why my team? • New Consultant training call every Monday evening 7:30pm Central Time with Team call to follow. • Dedicated team training site- www.imatchless.com • Team led webinars on a variety of different topics • Local meetings • Additional supports- Launch Party, 1st order, etc. • Facebook Group

  5. Why?? • Grow your team wide and it will grow deep • Strength in numbers – the larger your team the easier the lean “J” months are • Recruit for a Reason – Make a Difference in the lives of others • How can you bless the life of others?

Still need to know why? • Who wants to earn the 2012 Incentive Trip? • Recruiting is an IMPORTANT KEY to earning this trip! • Bonus points for recruiting in July 2011 • Today’s recruits are trained and ready for fall selling season • Get them going now • They will book parties & do their own recruiting in August-December • It’s not always better to wait • Income earned NOW can more than exceeds value of double kit • You may want to consider purchasing a starter set of catalogs and transition testers for them in August

  8. It starts with a goal… • Do you have personal goals for this month? • Is your dream board updated? • Do you have a recruit seed list? Why not? • What are your recruiting goals? • Do you want to earn the Annual Mentor Award? Remember the more you “talk Scentsy” the more you will recruit • When you have a defined, written, and visible goal..it becomes real and easier to accomplish

  9. Does your passion show? Do you love your business? Does it show? Are you excited and motivated? Do you Smile? Enjoy your business? Are your parties fun? If you were a guest at your party, would YOU want to sign up under you? If you don’t love what you do, why would anyone want to join your team? If you don’t love the product you sell, why would anyone want to join your team? If you don’t exude confidence, passion, knowledge, and enthusiasm, why would anyone want to join your team? Your attitude determines your altitude!

  10. Power of asking… • No is not always no. No often means “not now” but those are not wasted seeds! • Keep planting seeds…they don’t always bloom on your schedule but they can still grow a beautiful garden when they do! • Hearing lot’s of “no’s” will get you more exited for the “yes’s”! • There is a big sea to fish from. There is still lots of opportunity everywhere! • The more familiar people are with Scentsy in your area, the more opportunity • Don’t worry about “concentration or saturation” levels • Don’t limit your opportunity to your immediate comfort zone • Don’t stop at local family, friends, old friends, co-workers, college roommates, long lost cousins…the list is endless

Power of asking con’t… • Think about the following: • Who could use a little extra money each month? • Who is miserable at their 9-5 job? • Who has lost their job in the past few months or had interruption in family income? • Who could use some “adult time” out of the home each week? • Who loves our product? • Make your fast list of 48 prospects

  12. Consistancy Pays… • Director 1 and Director 2 signed up the same day but took very different paths. Let’s take a look at their businesses 1 year later: • Director 1: • 7 frontline • Monthly income of $1021.05 • 1 Director in Downline • Director 2: • Frontline of 30 • Monthly income of 3035.61 • 4 Directors in Downline • Consistency in recruiting (2 recruits a month) is the key here. Grow it wide and it will grow deep

Scentsy Spirit anyone? • Take advantage of all of the fabulous Scentsy Success branding gear and show your Scentsy Spirit • Do you Scream Scentsy Spirit? • Is your car branded with a vinyl or wrapped? • Wear the “Help Wanted” button at events • How would someone know that you are a Scentsy consultant if they didn’t meet you at a Party? • Don’t underestimate the value of branding for conversation starters • Never leave home without marketing materials • Do you have catalogs? Scent A Peels? Join Materials? Business Cards? • ALWAYS have Recruitment Packets Ready and with you! • Make them in bulk 10-20 at a time and they are always ready!

Don’t underestimate the power of networking • Join local community groups, play groups, reading clubs, walking clubs, business groups • Take advantage of youth sports practices, the swimming pool, the playground, and the 3 hour line at Disney World • Join Online Common Interest Groups • Blog, Tweet, Facebook – Share your Scentsy Love to a Virtual Audience • Make Product Donations for Non-Profit Events • Gift, Gift, Gift! It comes back in huge ways! • Spend as much time immersed in trainings as you can! • The training center, Tuesday corporate calls, Convention, group webinars, and every training opportunity you can get your hands on! • Sign up for newsletters from industry leaders! Read as much as you can! • All of your time and energy is well spent and makes you a more knowledgeable leader and better sponsor!

  15. Keep them encouraged! • *Send hand written cards for promotions, birthdays and other achievements • *Send notifications if anyone is due to terminate due to inactivity • *Make random phone calls • *Send email, card or welcome gift to any and all new team members regardless of generation/level. • *Send reminders of team meetings or training calls

  16. Encouraging Continued • *Lead by example • *Face to face visits • *Listen to their needs or concerns • *Focus on opportunities to address their weaknesses • *Contact your director when you need support or assistance • *Social Media • *Keep it positive
