  1. Future Manager Development Programme Week 3 Recruiting

  2. Course Outline • 6 week programme designed to move your business forward & to give you an insight into the expectations of a Manager. • Weekly attendance is essential. • Homework is to be completed every week, without fail The 6 weeks training is broken down into: • Management Expectations & Pay Structure • Your Personal Business • Recruiting • Leadership • Management Tasks Overview • Goal Setting & Action Plan to achieve Management

  3. Homework & Feedback • Dream Board • BBC • Regional Booking Blitz

  4. Planning Your Success Planning is mandatory for business success. Fail to plan and you plan to fail. Planning is difficult because there is no immediate feedback as to its value. But if you think of starting and operating your business in the same way you might think about climbing a mountain, the purpose and advantages of planning become clearer. When you start up the mountain you never know what to expect: sudden change in weather, lost or broken equipment, mistakes in maps, an injury. Planning for these eventualities will allow you to deal with them and still reach your objective in spite of temporary setbacks. On the other hand, lack of planning can spell disaster. The more careful the planning, the more likely problems will be anticipated and not allowed to interfere with your ultimate business objective. • THE BUSINESS PLAN UCW has the Systems For Success already in place for you • THE STRATEGIC PLAN • VISION. This is a short statement that defines your overall long term goal. • MISSION/PURPOSE. This is a definitive comment that tells WHY you are pursuing your vision. • GOALS & OBJECTIVES. This is a specific list that should include items that can be measured in terms of accomplishment and attainment. Goals should be realistic and attainable within one to three years. • RISKS, OBSTACLES & STRATEGIES TO OVERCOME THEM Fail to plan and you plan to fail. Be the exception to the rule - plan, assess, and plan some more. You MUST have a clear goal and a well-defined methodology for getting there. Take all the time necessary to produce a well thought out strategic plan. Plan for your success & follow the Systems in place for you to achieve.

  5. “Remember that success is not chance, but you have to prepare for it! People often forget that success that appears to come overnight often has a background of years. When you begin to build a skyscraper, you don’t start putting one brick on another, but you dig a huge and very deep foundation first. So, if you want to rise up, you have to go down first!” Laurie Fitzgerald, General Manager. “Success is a choice!” – Rick Pitino

What are you up to these days?” “Well Chris, I’m a wardrobe paramedic! I help Ladies stock up their wardrobes for FREE and Half Price with the up to date latest fashions!” “Really? That sounds interesting, how do you do that?” “I just happen to have our latest fashion catalogue in my hand bag Chris & a flyer which will show you how you can party & earn with UnderCoverWear.
