  2. What is forensics? • the application of a broad spectrum of sciences to answer questions of interest to a legal system. This may be in relation to a crime or a civil action.

  3. What skills are required? • mathematicians, biologists, chemists and public speakers. They can be called upon to use virtually all of these in the course of solving a case.

  4. What duties are performed? • A forensicscientist is a scientist who analyzes biological, chemical, or physical samples taken into evidence for a case

  5. What education or training is required? • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in natural science or forensic science is required for working in this field. • Some labs might require a master’s degree in forensic science for more advanced positions, such as lab technician leader or supervisor.
