Reports from 2011 PH Sessions Great attendance and interest Pre-meeting symposium What’s New in PAH (~120-140) Challenges in Lung Tranplantation (~150) CTEPH (~60) Main Meeting Failing RV (>300) PH Complicating LV failure – sunrise (~120) Controversies in PH – currently being held Scientific Sessions 2 oral Abstract presentations and 1 minioral – all very well attended Satellite CME Meeting Basic science paired with clinical dilemmas on clinical applicability of prostacycline ~ 90 in attendance.

  4. PH Council Initiatives for 2012 Meeting • Suggestions and Proposals under consideration • “Cross-fertilization” with other Councils sharing similar interests • Pediatrics, Heart Failure, MCS • Partnership with Junior Council to involve junior faculty in PH • Expand the focus on Right Ventricle • “Pair” basic scientists with clinicians to discuss a focused theme
