  3. QARC Quantum Architecture Research Center • Collaboration with MIT, Berkeley, and UW • Funded for 5 years by DARPA with $3M • Goal: drive nanoscale technology by designing scalable quantum computers

DSP Design • Today’s Digital Signal Processors can not perform many tasks (eg processing wireless signals) without special-purpose hardware. • How can we build more flexible systems which meet speed and power requirements? • Parallelism • Low-latency interconnect • Voltage/frequency scaling Funded by NSF ITR, Chong, Akella, Baas $300K
