  2. Excellence in Financial Management Program Introduction The Excellence in Financial Management Program is an online modular program designed to provide advanced training in finance. The Program was developed based on feedback from free training courses offered at www.exinfm.com/training. These courses are posted for free without any formal program or certification behind what is taught. In an effort to better meet the needs of people who want a more formal program (similar to a college education), a new training program will be launched later in 2011. The Program’s Mission is to Provide a collegiate level education in finance online that meets the full educational needs of the participant. In order to accomplish this mission, the Program is administered through a formal Learning Management System which includes: Interactive courses with audio / video, topic boxes and chapter review questions; Completion Certificates, Transcript Records, Wiki Knowledge, Competency Management Tools, Blogs and Master Level Exams. A one-day live workshop is also taught in support of Module 1 in Washington D.C. Participants in the Program have their own personal learning environment which includes: My Courses (Courses you have selected to take), My Certificates (Permanent record of your certificates which you can export), My Calendar (Your own training path and schedule), My Transcript (Permanent record of what you have taken and what you have passed), and My Profile (Set your own personal preferences). The following slides describe the structure and layout of the Program as well as a description of the courses that comprise Module 1 – Business Finance (launch in 2011) and Module 2 – Business Analytics (under development). The final slide attempts to answer some of your questions. www.exinfm.com/elearning
