  1. 15 things that nobody tells you about pregnancy There are many things that are said about pregnancy and about which you have read or have reported but there are other situations, usually something more uncomfortable, that no one tells you about. Until now. The pregnancy is an amazing experience from the perspective that your baby is growing inside you but, as you may have noticed, there is very uncomfortable things that are real challenges in everyday life. Things as simple as finding underwear that does not cut your breath or find a comfortable position to be sitting at work (or on the couch, or in bed and, if you hurry, even standing), are real complications that make it difficult a little our daily life. Here you will find 15 things that nobody tells you about pregnancy but that in Being Parents we want you to know because, although we would do it as many times as necessary, being pregnant is not a path of roses. First of all you must be aware that you have all the right in the world not to feel full 100% of your time, you have the right to communicate and say it and, above all, to try to make others understand it and, also, to give it to you exactly as they do not because that does not change the fact of living what you are living. You have the right to feel exactly how you feel. Society tends to minimize the disadvantages and emotions of women (not only during pregnancy, but as a general rule) because it is extremely uncomfortable to face them, it is not that we cannot understand it, it is simply unfair that it is done. Yes, a woman can feel happy with her pregnancy, excited by the future arrival of the baby, saddened by hormones, tired from the back and angry because her swollen legs prevent her from leading her usual life, and no, she is not crazy or his head is going to feel and express all this. Women do not have to continue fulfilling the canons that we are marked at the time of fulfilling the required perfection, so we bring you this list, so that you understand that you are not alone, that you are not the only ones, that it is normal what You feel and, above all, that nothing happens: you are not the exception to the norm, it is that they have simply never let us make known "the norm".

  2. 1. Time goes from being measured in months or years to weeks and days To begin with, during pregnancy, time will never be counted in months, but in weeks. A form of temporary perception that no other human being will understand unless you have been pregnant previously (or share your same situation). Do you prefer to know your evolution, and that of your child, week after week? Search for your pregnancy week in our Pregnancy Calendar and solve all your doubts. 2. Your shoes will be small as if by magic It's normal, you're not becoming big foot. Your feet swell, as do your ankles, mainly due to fluid retention and suddenly, your usual shoes are uncomfortable and you may even need new ones of a larger size. 3. You forget things that you did not forget before Did you go through life without an agenda, without notes on your mobile and you always remembered everything? It is likely that this has changed and, now, if you do not set three alarms, you are able to leave the house without remembering if you have turned off the iron, the TV or if you have brushed your teeth. 4. You will be more asocial It does not happen to all pregnant women but it is quite common. The pregnancy is a time when our mind and body are focused on our health and small that develops within us so many times what we previously worried because it does not and, also, we tend to isolate ourselves one little more to not feel so connected to what other people seem to care so much. 5. At the beginning of pregnancy there is a moment in which the paradox occurs: you are and you are not pregnant at the same time "But if the pregnancy test has not tested positive ... that means I 'm not pregnant right?" Well, not necessarily. The hormone that this type of pregnancy tests in the urine measure the level of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) that we have in the body. This hormone is indicative of pregnancy and only appears when a baby is pregnant, however, in the first days of pregnancy their

  3. levels are still very low and the tests are not always able to identify them. That's why although it seems that you are not pregnant, yes you are. And hence that magnificent paradox. 6. Dreams when you are pregnant are much more realistic and, many of them, are VERY erotic-festive The dreams in which you fly, you know Marisol and you go for beers with Ewan McGregor will give way to much more vivid and real dreams: I have forgotten the child in the supermarket, I have gone into labor or I have arrived home after hospital and we do not have even one of the things we have prepared for the baby. It is normal, our subconscious is focused on concerns related to pregnancy and that is why it is expressed in that way through dreams. In addition, when you are pregnant you also tend to have more erotic dreams than usual. This happens, mainly, by the level of hormones with which we live in this time. 7. Your nose does not work for you anymore. It is the enemy Your nose, that protuberance that you never paid special attention to is now the focus of innumerable problems: snot, bleeding and, the Ace of Hearts, suddenly it's hard for you to breathe! 8. The first symptoms of pregnancy can be pregnancy or a simple flu During the first symptoms of pregnancy you may come to think that what happens is that you have caught a flu: nausea, tiredness, sleep, headache... A combination of ailments very similar to what you have when you have caught a small flu or a cold. If you think you might be pregnant, before you self-medicate, go to your GP. In fact, do not ever self-medicate: always go to a professional to value you. 9. Your clothes are too small and that of the stores is still huge There is a "magnificent" point of pregnancy in which your clothes no longer serve you but the clothes for pregnant women are too big for you. You can always ask for clothes from a friend, sister or even your mother. Those who have lived what you are living know perfectly well what you are going through and they will help you without any problem.

  4. 10. You start to salivate a lot. Very much You begin to secrete a lot of saliva. You identify with Pávlov's dogs without even having heard of them. 11. Your mouth seems to have become an enemy and it does not remain your ally. Your gums bleed, your tooth sensitivity goes up, and thinking about a clean mouth seems as attractive as shaving your English with tweezers, hair by hair. 12. The "cold" as a concept Constant and inconsistent temperature changes: minus three degrees in the street and you feel like in Barbados, and at 30 degrees in the shade you look, desperate, a little chaste to throw you by the shoulders. 13. Why does my libido look like that of a teenager and two days later that of a menopausal grandmother? The libido during these nine months will seem a mystery worthy of the Fourth Millennium: during the first three months you are too tired to think about sex, during the second trimester you feel like a teenage hormone to enter the third trimester and realize that the " logistics "To take into account when maintaining relationships is too complex to devote all the time they need (and you do not have). 14. Comfortable sleeping and all night of the pull seems mission impossible Suddenly you miss a LOT to sleep on your stomach, even if it was never your favorite position before. The sleep during pregnancy is interrupted by the many visits to the bathroom, the discomfort of the gut and so much you press the baby's weight. 15. The amazing sensation of the movement of the child in the gut Noticing how the baby moves inside makes you feel, at the same time and without overlapping: excitement, fear, rarity, emotion and, above all, a lot of love.
