  4. Finances – general picture as of December 31, 2016 Current assets: Cash: $43,725 (2015 -$61,289) Accounts receivable: $624 Prepaid expenses:$9,413 Investments: $158,029 Capital assets $3,192 Total $214,983 (2015 - $233,500)

  5. Finances – general picture as of December 31, 2016 Current liabilities: Accounts payable and accrued liabilities: $5,491 Government remittance payable: $3,291 Deferred revenue: $19,815 Total $28,597 Members’ equity: $186,386 (2015 - $198,104)

  6. Finances 2016 revenues: $178,839 2016 expenditures: $190,557 deficit - $11,718 (2015 – surplus: $6,210) MOTION TO ACCEPT THE FINANCIAL REPORTS: MOVED BY: SECONDED BY: (2017 budget based on memberships, workshops and the newsletter: $242,600 – includes $30K for possible Bill 151 consultation)

  7. Adding affiliate membership level Motion to amend the MWA organizational bylaw (section 5.1) to add a Corporate Affiliate membership, in addition to a Municipal Affiliate membership, at $25 per year. Affiliate members shall not have a vote. MOVED BY: SECONDED BY:
