  1. Nasser Hussain Feels Virat Kohli is the Right Person to Lead Team India There is no denying the fact that after a stunning win at Lord’s, the Indian captain, Virat Kohli’s name has been scripted in the history. Commenting on that, former English skipper, Nasser Hussain has written a column for Daily Mail where he shared that an aggressive Kohli is the best to lead a team like India. The veteran also said that he had a chat with former India coach Duncan Fletcher who stated that Kohli is someone who wants to win any game at all costs. He also mentioned how fans must see him as well. In his column, Nasser Hussain wrote: “Virat Kohli is the right man at the right time to lead this formidable India side. His players, in particular the bowlers, want an aggressive captain. They want Kohli stirring things up, as he did so effectively in that brilliant second Test at Lord’s. Jasprit Bumrah has always seemed, to be a quiet and reserved character off the field, but look at the way he attacked and went after Jimmy Anderson on that third evening.”

  2. Nasser Hussain He again explained, “Kohli’s aggression is aimed at winding up the opposition and he gets under the skin of every team he plays against. I’m sure most don’t particularly like playing against him and English supporters won’t particularly like him but he won’t care a lot about that. I remember speaking to Duncan Fletcher about Kohli when he was India coach and he just told me he was a winner. At almost any cost, too.” However, the visitors took all the limelight at Lord’s as they went 1-0 up in five-match Test series after a draw in the first one. While the Lord’s Test was seen verbal spats between two teams, after the stunning victory in the second Test, Virat Kohli led Team India will surely try to maintain their winning momentum and take a lead as well.
