  2. The Letters Some 270 letters (~2,500 folios) from the family of the Conde de Montemar, Diego José Carrillo de Albornos y Bravo de Lagunas. Mainly written by his brother, Pedro. Between Lima-Madrid, 1761-1799. Diversity of themes: mayorazgo, family business, family affairs, vice-royal politics, religious matters, indigenous affairs.

  3. Digitization Open access Reproduce image online Transcription, Keywords, OCR. Post-Doc in Andean History; RA.

  4. Virtual Andean Resources Portal (VARP) Collect, list and, annotate resources and research centers, archives, libraries, museums for Andean Studies. Illinois, US, Latin America, and Beyond. Editorial and Advisory Boards: Illinois and elsewhere. Foster collaboration, research, and teaching.

  5. Concerns & Challenges Funding: Post-doc, staff time. VARP: reinventing the wheel when there are other Andean centers in place. Brazil?
