  3. For Grade C or above • Must show evidence of the following: • Variety of tenses (Past, Present and Future) • Opinions and justifications (J’aime…parce que…..) • Lots of “salt and pepper”

  4. Source materialWhen writing your draft, you may refer to a variety of source material: • Exercise book • Text books • Dictionary • Worksheets • Web sites (must be declared) • For controlled pieces, only a dictionary can be used.

  5. Task:1.5 Planning a holiday in the target-language country • Your task is to produce a piece of coursework that shows the planning of a holiday • Higher Level 150-200 words • Foundation 80-120 words • You could use a grid to show / prepare your planning • Deadline for first draft:

Suggested Plan: • How/ why the holiday came to be planned • For whom the holiday is intended (e.g. self, family, group of friends, primary school children) • Requirements and interests of the party (e.g. culture, sun, cost, sport, accommodation) • The itinerary • Why the holiday will fully match their needs. • Other destinations considered and why there were rejected.
