  2. How is energy converted into a usable form of energy? wind Biomass briquettes • Wind power is made by using wind generators to harness the kinetic energy of wind. • Wind turbines seen in many places around the united states and the world is used to make wind into energy by converting kinetic energy into mechanical energy. • Are used to heat industrial boilers to produce energy from steam.

  3. What are they used for wind Biomass briquettes • Wind is used for many thing like: electricity, airplanes, windmills, kites, sailing, skydiving, circulating air, pollinating plants. • Are used to heat boilers in manufacturing plants. • Electricity generation, heat and cooking fuel.

  4. what are the benefits? wind Biomass briquettes • When people use wind power it is the least expensive of any other power source. • It is eco – friendly to the environment because wind power doesn’t make a lot of carbon dioxide. • It is eco friendly and wont pollute the air. • They substitute for coal and oil, because it is natural and renewable and doesn’t pollute the are with carbon.

  5. What's are its drawbacks? wind Biomass briquettes • There are a very view draw backs to wind. One is the rise in wind or decrease in wind per season. Wind comes and goes which is a drawback to make wind power. • Biomass is good for not wasting fossil fuels but there are some drawbacks to it. When people burn biomass it contributes to greenhouse gases which is not good for global warming.

  6. Government Plans wind Biomass briquettes • The government are looking for places around united states that have a lot of wind. They will be putting up wind turbines around the poplar places were wind is. • The government agrees it will be good for energy rather then using fossil fuels and coal but they fear it wont pass through the goals of making a better environment.

  7. Number one source of energy? wind Biomass briquetts • Could be one of the highest used energy. But it depends when there not a high wind in the U.S it goes down. • There not number one because it has been reported that they increase global warming.
