  3. Partner Share • People can show their selflessness by providing aid to those in need. • How can someone show their selflessness? • In what ways can you provide aid to others in your community?

Amazing Words • Social worker- is someone who works towards the betterment of social conditions in a community • The social worker provided recreational activities for students and their families who are going through difficult times • Victim- people who have been harmed because of an event, accident, or other disaster • Hsiang-ling and her family were victims of a flood.

  5. Vocabulary • Astonished- syn.- surprised • shocked, surprised • Behavior-syn.-way of acting • the way a person acts or behaves • Teach your partner these words.
