MMA - Meaning Making Activities • To motivate initiation, design, outcomes, and evaluation of CT • To direct and organize overall language learning experience strategically • To condition shared experience • To illuminate sustained learning and development from other tracks: independent use of new language and diversity of learning outcomes

  5. LLE – Language Learning Exercises • To help language learners notice new relations and features of the language • To prepare language learners for copying with language problems on the fly as they use it in real time (language prediction skills) • To condition diversity of learning outcomes

  6. CT – Communication Tasks • To condition learner's discovery of personal current language problems • To create opportunities for learner to use noticed language features and relations in meaningful ways • To help learners produce more complex language in order to convey more subtle meanings, ideas, and feelings. • To condition diversity of learning outcomes and group work experience in English.

  7. DA – Discourse Analysis 1. To illuminate current language problems of individual learners. 2. To reflect learning events and construction of learning contexts 3. To produce data for course evaluation

  8. TSE – Task & Self Evaluation 1. To organize program and self evaluation activities 2. To identify learning opportunities afforded by learners 3. To improve the quality of language program
