  2. Do’s and Don’ts In conversation class, we learned about how to behave in certain public places. Before every class, we would do a review of the previous lesson. Role playing was a big hit with everyone! In these pictures, we learn how to choose goods carefully and play the role of a customer interested in purchasing some items.

  5. Consonant Blends We’ve been doing a number of consonant blends this month. Consonant blends have a sound combination that is heard upon reading the word.

  6. Consonant + L The consonant blends that we took up this month include the following: bl for blender, blouse and blanket cl for clamp, cloud, clarinet fl for flower, flute, flamingo gl for glue, glass, globe pl for plate, pliers and planeets sl for slippers, sled and slingshot

  7. Consonant + R The consonant blends that we took up this month include the following: br for bracelet, broccoli and bridge. cr for crayons, crab and crowbar. dr for dress, dropper and drums. gr for grapefruit, graph and grass. pr for printer, prawn, protractor.

  9. Lessons this month Since we have been able to discuss the sounds of the Alphabets for almost 3 months, we began with beginning sounds and made several exercises using the pictures we have previously tackled. We continue to learn the characters of Letterland,

  11. DRUM CLASS ANGELS KINDERGARTEN Afterschool Program

  12. We played musical chair using drum beats and bongos so the children can enjoy the rhythm and somehow follow the beats to prepare them for future lessons. FOR UNDER 4

  13. For 4 and up Drum ClassWe continue to practice the exercises and the children are still challenged by these! Our primary goal is to master the 7 exercises to be able to proceed to more difficult patterns. We also do ball exercises to follow the beats based on the speed of the bounce.   15. Using crayons and pencils, we colored in pets. In lieu of Children’s Day we also drew pictures of boys and girls. For under 4 years old

  16. We still continue our lessons teaching the children proper way of coloring, tracing and trying to draw based on shapes I drew for them to copy.

  18. We had fun this month. We started off using water colors and wax crayons! The children get to use small paint brushes too! We made cards for Mother’s Day and also painted landscapes. For 4 years old and up
