The mission of the Compact The mission of the Derbyshire Public Sector Compact is to improve the quality of the public services in the county through effective collaborative workforce development and planning. To do this we are concentrating on three priority areas: • Commitment to the Skills Pledge • Supporting organisations with workforce development planning • Disseminating good practice via special events, workshops and seminars We have set performance targets for each area of work for session 09-10

  3. Skills Pledge – Success Measure All public sector organisations to commit to the Skills Pledge before the end of March 2010

Workforce Development – Success Measures • To support the development of 3 new collaborative arrangements (partnerships) in the sector by March 2010 • To identify the number of apprentices who were employed in sector at the end of March 09 and to support an increase in the numbers by March 2010 • To increase uptake of skills for life provision based on TNA • To promote and support the implementation of Skills Pledge Action Plans

  5. Good Practice Events – Success Measure Three ‘Good Practice’ Events to be delivered between 1st April 2009 and the end of March 2010
