  5. WHAT YOU CAN REQUEST IN PRAYER: Psa 5:10 God, show that they are guilty. Let their evil plans bring them down.

  6. WHAT TO DO: • Keep yourself from the same wicked ways • Trust the Lord to deal with the wicked according to His Holy, righteous nature.

  7. GOD Who favors him who does what is right Psalm 5:12

  8. THE RIGHT THINGS TO DO Psalm 5: 7,8,11 • Take refuge in God • Love the Name of the Lord • Be glad, sing for joy, rejoice in the Lord • Recognize God’s mercy • Revere God • Stay in the the straight way

  9. WHAT YOU CAN ASK GOD TO DO FOR YOU. v11,12 • Like a shield, your loving care keeps them safe. • Spread your cover over them and keep them safe

  10. WHAT TO DO: • Continue to do what is right • Trust the Lord will protect and defend you.

  11. CONCLUSION: The reason for David’s confidence that God will answer his prayer and save him from his enemies is that his enemies belong to the group of people whose wickedness brings only opposition from God. In contrast, he continued to love, revere, worship God, walk in His righteousness. He stayed in the side under God’s favor.
