    2. Project Goal Reduce icing and winter flooding of Flat Creek through stream improvements which allow the creek to approach its fisheries and ecological potential

Project Tasks PHASE 1:Conduct a planning and feasibility study to determine the aquatic habitat limitations of Flat Creek and recommend likely concepts and strategies for rehabilitation; PHASE 2:Conduct a detailed siting and design study leading to the recommendation of specific rehabilitation treatments and the submittal of necessary documents to the appropriate state and federal agencies for permitting purposes; PHASE 3:Implement the recommended and permitted rehabilitation treatments and provide a post implementation evaluation.
