  1. Sports Instructions for League Schedulers Step 1: Go to AY11 Sports page, click “New” under Upcoming Games

Entering New Game/Practice Game Step 2: Select Sport Step 3: Select Location Step 4: Select Start time and End time Step 5: Select Type of Event (See Note *) Step 6: Select Home Team and Away Team * Note: If you select “Team Only Practice”, only the Home Team will be displayed Step 7: Click “OK” ** Note 2: After a new game is created, the portal will display (no title) for the event, click the browser refresh button and the event will populate.

  4. Step 1: Go to Game Results, Click on a game Enter Scores Step 2: Click “Report Game Score” Step 3: Click “Enter Score”

  5. Enter Scores (Continued) Step 4: Enter Home Team and Away Team Scores Step 5: Click “Save” Standings will be automatically calculated

  6. Cancel a Game Step 1: Select the game you want to cancel Step 2: Click “Edit Item” Step 3: Select “Canceled” then Click “OK”

  7. Cancel a Game (Continued) The color of the game will turn red every where on the USAWC Games portal site after a game has been canceled.

  8. Cancel a Game (Continued) Both the Home team and the Away teams will receive an E-mail informing them the game has been canceled like the one below.

  9. Justification: Place all USAWC Sports games on the CB Portal • Issues with Current Process: • If changes are made to Games, it is difficult to contact players • There is currently no place to see the game results • If a game is canceled due to weather, no easy way to quickly communicate this to players • Requirements: • Provide portal Calendar for all USAWC to see • Allow League schedulers to easily schedule games and record game results • Allow three types of events to be scheduled: Games: Team Only Practice, and Practice Games • Allow three sports: Softball, Volleyball and Basketball • If a game is cancelled, e-mail both the home team and away team that game is cancelled. • Allow game results to be recorded • Calculate the standings USAWC Sports Portal Requirements
