Eating disorders &plastic surgery • Many people are affected by the image they see in the mirror everyday, but some people go to extremes to fix what they think is a problem. • More than half a million American teenagers have an eating disorder. • Research shows that nearly 210,000 teens from ages 13-19 went under the knife to fix their appearance. • The most popular procedure among teens is rhinoplasty • The most common eating disorder is binge eating
