  4. 2011-12 School-Wide Focus • Continue the focus on our Writing program • Set SMARTE Goals in Writing, Math, and SLT Survey response • Maintain a six week cycle of assess, teach, monitor, assess, in each of the goal areas. • Reflect on growth areas from SLT Survey: Homework, Safety/Security, Differentiation, and Discipline • Intervention and English Language Development

  6. How do you measure the success of your child’s year? Are they happy? Friendships? Life Skills? Progress in difficult area? Scores? Attitude toward school? Discovered a love? Seeks new knowledge? Develops curiosity? Critically thinks? Confidence? Report card? Against others’ kids? Breathe…

  7. This and That • Please be mindful and respectful of each other during drop off and pick up. Walk, ride, scoot, if you can! • Please do not park in unmarked spaces and leave your car! • Always check in at the office when coming on campus. • Please read the newsletters, check the website/calendar, and new Parent Handbook. • Help us stay consistent with playground rulesoutside school hours.
