    3. Destination: “Paradise” “Original Sin” – human beings were cast out of the Garden of Eden, and according to some translations, settled “East of Eden”. Genesis 3:16-24 Eden is probably modern day Iraq, therefore making East of Eden the desert Desert Sin/Evil Paradise

Making The Journey Easier Whenever traveling to a destination, one must be prepared and have good transportation: Driving Directions From MapQuest Reliable “wheels” Gasoline (energy) When traveling on the “Faith Journey”, with our ultimate destination being union with God in heaven, there are nine principles of Catholic Social Teaching which make up a “wheel of justice”. This fortifies us as we encounter obstacles ,bumps and potholes along the way.

    6. The Wheel of Justice The spokes of the wheel are the principles of Catholic Social Teaching. They help to fortify the virtues of social justice as it encounters the obstacles, bumps and potholes met on the road to God’s kingdom The hub of the wheel is Human Dignity Dignity of the human person Respect for life

    9. Summary The Wheel of Justice is an image that reflects Jesus’ message to the Church on social teaching as it relates to contemporary society. The Wheel, which illustrates nine principles of Catholic social justice, is God’s way of helping us, through the Church, have an easier journey back to him.
