Immune System • Increases activity of white blood cells • Antibiotic; Antifungal; antiviral and antiallergenic action • Recommended for Candida and post viral fatigue syndrome • Useful for lowered immunity (not indicated for immunodeficiency diseases) • Immunosupport during cancer treatment • Anti-inflamatory • Gout • Arthritis • Skin conditions • Pelvic inflammatory disease • Hot infusion stimulates circulation and sweating, reducing fever. • Traditionally used for malaria and typhus

Methods • Infusions • Tea steeped for 10 minutes • Decoctions • Tea for used for barks and other resilient parts of the plant • Tincture • 1 part fresh herb/1 part dried herb • 1-2 part liquid (vodka)/5 parts liquid • Place in dark cupboard and shake daily for 2-4 weeks • Strain liquid from herbs and store in clean container • Keeps for 8-10 years • Dose 3-9 drops 3-6 times daily for no more than 10 days • 1 week between dosing sessions
