Laboratory Personnel and Students New Employee Orientation Annual Update Training (offered every other month) On-line Training with Quiz Train-the-Trainer Program Department Specific Training Clinical Personnel Annual Training On-line Training with Quiz Off-site Training Office Personnel Training recommended every 3 years, offered every six months. WU EH&S Safety Training

  11. WU EH&S will conduct semi-annual laboratory safety audits. Safety Manual “Blue Book” will be revised to include WU changes. All BJH Laboratory areas will be assigned one WU Health and Safety Professional. WU EH&S will provide: Annual Fume Hood Testing Chemical Monitoring Ergonomic Reviews Respiratory Fit Testing PPE Review & Recommendation Laboratory Safety Audits

  13. Chemical Material Management Washington University’s Hazardous Materials Division will collect discarded chemical materials beginning July 1, 2003. Pick-up request forms are available on-line @ www.ehs.wustl.edu or by calling the main office at 362-6816 Infectious Waste & Sharps Management BJH will continue to collect all Infectious and Sharps waste.
