  3. Greetings/Saludos New Vocabulary/Nuevo vocabulario: • ¿Cómoestáusted? = How are you? (used to show respect to grown ups) • Estoytriste. = I’m sad. • Estoyfeliz. = I’m happy. • Estoycansado/a. = I’m tired. (o if you’re a boy/a if you’re a girl) • Estoyenfermo/a. = I’m sick. (o if you’re a boy/a if you’re a girl)

  4. New vocabulary/nuevovocabulario: ¿Cómo se llama usted? = What is your name? • used to show respect to grown ups • used when asking for a substitute teacher’s name, a friend’s relative, etc.

  5. In school/En la escuela… Review/Repaso: • Señor/Señora/Señorita • Levántense/Siéntense/repitan/escuchen/ miren/levanten la mano/bajen la mano/saquen…/guarden… • La carpeta/la hoja de papel/el pupitre/la silla/la mochila/el lápiz/el creyón/el marcador
