Kristen and cliff • Kristen is 29 years old. • Kristen grew up in Warren, MI • Kristen and Cliff share a beautiful 4 year old daughter named Aubrey. • Kristen works in Sales. • Kristen’s style for her and Cliff’s Wedding is FALL into LOVE. • Kristen and Cliff are planning for 200-250 guests. The venue chosen is the Best Western Plus Sterling Inn, in Sterling Heights, MI. • Kristen's color choices are Red and Grey • Cliff is 31 years old • Cliff also grew up in Warren, mi • Cliff and Kristen have been together for 12 years. • Cliff works for a Roofing Company • Cliff is very hands on and is very much a “Man’s Man” • Cliff and Kristen’s first date was seeing the movie Rush Hour. Kristen had to drive cause Cliff did not have a Drivers License yet.

  3. Anticipation • Save the Dates will be sent out IMMEDIATELY to let guests know that there is a Wedding being planned! The below Save The Date postcard is proposed to be sent out • Invites will be casually classy as this is not a black tie Wedding. Proposed invite is pictured below to show that is it a FALL theme. The couple is Registed at: Bed, Bath and Beyond and Target.

  4. Anticipation (continued) • Placing Engagement Announcement in the local paper, Macomb Daily. The below picture will be used for the announcement. Announcement to read: Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bartelotti of Warren, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Bartelotti, to Cliff Young Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Young Sr.. A October wedding is planned.

  5. Ceremony Arrival • Ceremony will be held at 4:00pm at the White House Wedding Chapel, approximately 2 miles away from the Reception Venue. • 120 guests are anticipated to arrive for the ceremony • Ceremony venue is mostly covered in windows, so the background is most of the décor for the beautiful service. • LaDonna Officiates will be officiating the ceremony • Bridal party will walk down the isle to “Cannon in D” • Kristen will walk down the isle to the “Bridal March” holding a beautiful arrangement of gerbera daisies with red roses.

  6. Reception Arrival • The Reception will be held at the Best Western PLUS Sterling Inn for approximately 225 guests.. Hotel accommodations have been made at the same location. Rates are $89 for one bed and $99 for two beds. Guests are asked to call the Hotel directly and ask for the Bartelotti/Young Wedding Room Block for the discounted rates. • At 6pm the doors to the Reception room will open. A Frame will be placed outside the room, on an easel, to show guests where they will be seated. This will be in lieu of place cards. The Bride and Groom will have an engagement picture placed inside of it, and they can keep this to hang in their home afterwards. • The Parents of both the Bride and Groom will be in the room, greeting guests as they arrive.

  7. Atmosphere • Upon guest arrival, guests will be greeted by the Moms, and also the staff of the venue. The staff will be passing Champagne for the guests at the entrance, to be colored red to match the colors of the reception. • The Reception room will be decorated with lots of red and grey colors. Tablecloths will be grey with a rose accent coming through. Chair covers will be the same shade of grey, and will have a red sash. • Table decorations will be white pumpkins with red roses coming out of them. 6 votive candles will be surrounding each of the centerpieces.

  8. Atmosphere (continued) • The DJ will be playing light instrumental music as the guests arrive. The “cocktail hour” is in the same room as the reception • Hot and cold hors d’oevers will be placed on two serpentine tables for guests to enjoy upon arrival. They will be able to chose from an item on the Relish Tray (cherry tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, miniature pickles, roasted red peppers, black olives, green olives and pepperoncini) or a hot selection of pot stickers and veggie spring rolls. • Premium Full Bar will be open. There will be a signature drink available, “Young Love”, a delicious spirit of Grenadine, Sprite and Vodka. Or, other cocktails, beers and wine are available.

  9. Atmosphere (continued) • Guests favors will include chocolate roses. One will be placed in front of each guest setting. • The head table will be tiered, there is a total of 18 people. There will be 6 placed on the top and 12 on the bottom. • Head table will have the same matching tablecloths as the guest table, same chairs, and there will be a 30 foot back drop placed behind the head table. It will be silver sheer draping with red crystals accents. • Vases will be aligning the front of the head table for the Bridal Party to place their bouquets in. In between them will be heavy amounts of floating candles. • Red uplighting will be placed around the entire room.

  10. Appetite • Kristen and Cliff have chosen to serve their guests a Buffet Style Service. • Their choices for food are as follows: • Entrees: Beef Tenderloin, carved to order, Chicken Picatta, Baked Salmon in a Dill Sauce. • Salads: Tossed Salad with Ranch and Italian Dressing for guests to chose, Caesar Salad, Tortellini Pasta Salad, Fresh Fruit Salad and Waldorf Salad. • Continued Menu Service: • Potatoes: White Cheddar Mashed • Pasta: Cheese Ravioli in a Marinara Sauce • Vegetable: Roasted Harvest Vegetable

  11. Appetite (continued) • For Dessert Kristen and Cliff have chosen self serve cupcakes. They will be beautifully presented on the cake table, and there will be six different flavors for guests to choose from: Banana Split, Strawberry Shortcake, Chocolate Stuffed, Lemon, Carrot Cake and Salted Carmel. • A Fall Station will be available to guests. The station will include, warm/cold cider, donuts, and a “make your own caramel apple” dipping station. Full of sliced apples with guest choices of: caramel, chocolate, nuts, Oreos and M&M’s. • Kristen and Cliff have also chosen a Candy Table for their guests to enjoy! Lots of grey and red candies for guests to chose from, and there are plenty of bags so that guests can take some to go. • Late Night snack being served is Pizza and Coney Dogs (Detroit traditional)

  12. Amusement • The Grand Entrance will be promptly at 6:30pm. The DJ will be announcing all of our Bridal Party in to the song “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas. Just prior to this, the staff of the venue will be pouring Champagne Toast for all the guests in the room. Kristen and Cliff will walk into the song “Beautiful Day” by U2. • Cake Cutting will follow immediately after the Bride and Groom have been officially entered into the Reception Room. • After the Cake Cutting ceremony, the Maid of Honor will make a speech, followed by the Best Man, and then the Father of the Bride will say Grace. Dinner will then follow. • Following dinner, and after Thanking Guests for celebrating their day, Kristen and Cliff will then do their first dance. The song chosen is At Last by Etta James. • The Bridal Party will then be asked to join Kristen and Cliff to the song “Faithfully” by Journey

  13. Amusement (continued) • Kristen and Cliff have opted out of doing a Bouquet Toss. Rather they will ask all married couples to join them on the dance floor to the song “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston. The DJ will then ask couples to leave the dance floor based on how many years they have been married, the couple marred the longest will receive the Bridal Bouquet. • JD Entrainment will be the DJ being used, and will be supplying our guests with fun entertainment for the evening! The will be keeping the dance floor full for guests to dance all night. • JD Entrainment will also be supplying a Photo Booth for our guests, with tons of props for pictures. Guests will receive pictures of the photos they were in immediately, there will also be a copy emailed to them, and Kristen and Cliff will receive a copy of each picture taken. After guests take a picture they are asked to sign next to their photo strip in the Memory Book, to wish our Bride and Groom congrats and love. The Memory Book is given to Kristen and Cliff at the end of the night.

  14. Appreciation • Guests will take pictures in the Photo Booth, that will be monogrammed with Kristen and Cliffs wedding date home as a favor • The Candy Table will have bags so guests can make their own candy bags to take home • Kristen and Cliff will also be supplying chocolate roses as a favor • Thank You cards are set to be in the mail one month after the wedding.

  15. Time line for the weekend of the wedding Friday, October 24, 2014 – Rehearsal Dinner • 4pm – Pick up rings from Jeweler, making sure they are cleaned correctly. • 5pm – Drop off wedding items to Best Western Plus Sterling Inn – Whatever they are setting up. Favors, centerpieces, place cards, champagne flutes, cake cutting service and lock for card box. Go over it all with Sales Manager there, and make sure it is in a locked and secure area. • 6pm - Bridal Party (along with dates), parents, Bride and Groom, and Officiants are to arrive at the White House Wedding Chapel. • Doing a “practice” run for the wedding, including walking down the aisle in the correct order with the proper partner, where everyone should stand, where the parents will be seated during the vows and the correct music. • Officiants will then do a quick practice of the vows for the Bride and Groom. • 7pm - Everyone will head to Buddy's Pizza for the Rehearsal Dinner, located approximately 2 miles from the White House Wedding Chapel! Reservations have already been made for the party in advance. Pizza, salad, breadsticks and beer will be served. Kristen and Cliff will present their gifts to their Wedding Party! • 10pm – Kristen will head to the Best Western Plus Sterling Inn to check into her Hotel Suite, with a couple of her friends, where she will be staying the night. Cliff will be headed home. They are sleeping separately this night to follow Wedding Tradition.

  16. Saturday, October 25th – wedding day! – Kristen’s timeline • 8:30am – Wake up for wedding day! • 8:45am – Bring out bagels, cream cheese, fruit, juices, Champagne for Mimosas, and coffee for the girls! • 9:00am – Make up artists and hair stylists arrive at the Best Western Plus Sterling Inn to begin transforming our beautiful bride and her party! The girls that did not stay the night are arriving as well. • 11:00am – Mothers arrive. • 12:00pm – Photographer arrives to begin taking pictures of everyone getting ready. • 1:30pm – Kristen and the girls head out on the Party Bus to take pictures at George George Park (located approximately 15 minutes from the Hotel). • 3:30pm – Kristen arrives at the White House Wedding Chapel and goes into her Private Room with her Bridal Party. Waits to walk down the aisle…. Guests are scheduled to arrive at 4pm. • 4:15pm – Kristen walks down the aisle!

Saturday, October 25th – wedding day! – Cliff’s timeline • 10:00am – Wake up for Wedding Day! • 10:30am – Meet the Groomsman and at Apple Annie's Restaurant for breakfast! • 11:30am – Head back to house • 12:00pm – Begin getting ready for the day! Take shower, shave, and put on suit! • 1:00pm – Photographer arrives to take pictures of Cliff and the boys getting ready! • 2:00pm – Head out and take picture at Heritage Park! • 3:45pm – Arrive at White House Wedding Chapel. Make sure that the groomsman are ready to start ushering guests to seats. • 4:15pm – Be ready at end of aisle for Kristen to walk down.

  18. Wedding timeline! • 4:45pm – Cliff and Kristen are MARRIED! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Young!!! • 4:50pm – Kristen and Cliff begin releasing the rows, along with their parents, at end of the aisle and thank everyone for coming to the Ceremony. Bridal Party waits in the Bridal Room. • 5:15pm – Take picture of Bride and Groom with families, Bridal Parties (combined), and with each other. All pictures to be taken at White House Wedding Chapel. • 6:15pm – Head to the Best Western Plus Sterling Inn for the Reception. • 6:30pm – Bridal Party lines up and begins Grand Entrance into the Reception venue!

Wedding timeline (continued) • 6:40pm – Grand Entrance • 6:50pm – Cutting of the Cake • 7:00pm – Speech from the Maid of Honor and Best Man and a prayer and speech before dinner from the Brides father. • 7:15pm – Start of dinner! • 8:30pm – Dinner is over and Kristen and Cliff go to each table to Thank them for joining them on their beautiful day. • 9:30pm – First dance as husband and wife • 9:40pm – Bridal Party dance • 9:50pm – Kristen dances with her father • 10:00pm – Cliff dances with his mother

  20. Wedding timeline (continued) • 10:10pm – Dance to give away the Bridal Bouquet (winner is the couple married the longest) • 12:30am – Bar Closes • 1:00am – Reception is over! • 1:15am – Mr. and Mrs. Young are back in the suite and the beautiful day is officially over!
