  3. Healthcare Industry • Job Point offers programs in: • Certified Nursing Assistant • Certified Medication Technician • Insulin Administration

  4. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) • 8-week fast track • 75 hours classroom • 100 hour clinical • Preparation for State certification tests and exam

  5. CNA Entrance Criteria • 18 years of age or older • Negative Drug Screen • High school diploma/equivalency. • Negative TB test • Clear legal background check • 8th grade reading levels on the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE).

  6. Certified Medication Technician (CMT) • After 6 months working as a CNA, enhance skills and marketability • 60 hours of classroom instruction • 8 hours of “hands on” direct care training

  7. Insulin Administration • Further enhance skills and marketability with Insulin Administration • 8 hours of classroom instruction • “Hands on” direct care training • Must be certified as a Medication Technician or Level 1 Medication Aide

  8. CMT and Insulin Admin Entrance Criteria • Active listing on Missouri CNA registry • Letter of recommendation from a Director of Nursing or Facility Administrator • Pass background check • Negative drug screen • Negative TB test or chest X-ray • Passing score on TABE entrance exam • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  9. Healthcare Industry • Coming Soon: • Pharmacy Technician (50 hours classroom; 40 hour clinical) • Dental Assisting (60 hours classroom; 40 hour clinical)
