  8. There are many resources to help you, as the teacher, get started. Below are only a few… Teachers can access an enormous amount of curriculum content online in a variety of formats, including audio and video pieces that can help bring the material to life for students. These materials are often free. Helpful sites include: DiscoveryEducation's Lesson Plan Library (http://school.discoveryeducation.com/lessonplans). Teachers Helping Teachers (www.pacificnet.net/~mandel/index.html). TeachersFirst.com (www.teachersfirst.com/index.cfm). Thinkfinity (www.thinkfinity.org/lesson-plans). APTPlus(www.APTPlus.org)...Which will be our focus today!

  9. Monroe County Digital Resources Survey Results… • Percentage of teachers using APTPlus…. 27.03% • Percentage of teachers NOT using APTPlus…72.97% • Top 5 Reasons WHY our teachers stated they are NOT using APTPlus: • They use the Internet to get the resources they need. • They are not fully aware of its usefulness. • They have forgotten their password. • They were not aware of it. There is a lack of knowledge. • They don’t have the time to sit down and explore it because there are so many other demands.
